In addition to supporting associations that take care of abandoned cats and dogs locally, Schesir is also involved in important national and international solidarity campaigns in favour of children, since they are the weakest, most vulnerable members of society.

uildm genova onlus

The UILDM Genova Onlus Association is the only association for Muscular Dystrophy and Neuromuscular Diseases, covering all aspects and working daily to improve the quality of life of people affected by these diseases. Pietro Moros, a writer from Genoa, has written a delightful fairy tale dedicated to children and families who experience the problem of motor disability caused by these diseases on a daily basis. Schesir contributed to the implementation of this project.

Lega del filo d'oro ONLUS

The “Lega del filo d’oro” is a non-profit organisation that has been fighting for years to overcome the barriers of isolation of deaf-blind people, especially children, allowing them to live a more integrated, dignified life. At present, it is involved in the construction of the new centre in Osimo (in the province of Ancona) and, thanks to Schesir’s contribution, furniture will be purchased for the bedrooms of its young guests.

Il porto dei Piccoli Onlus

Last September 2016 Schesir and «Il porto dei Piccoli» ONLUS began their partnership for the experimental pet-therapy project “Gimme five – Qua la zampa”

These activities have a recreational and socialization purpose through which the improvement of the quality of life and the increase in the well-being of the participants is promoted.

Schesir supports the activity of Dynamo Camp by supplying kibble each year in order to feed the six dogs that the association uses for Pet Therapy with quality food.
Since 2007, volunteers alternate at the recreational therapy facility located in Limestre (in the province of Pistoia). Over 7,000 children and youths suffering from severe pathologies have already had the chance to experience safe leisure times surrounded by nature.

Schesir supports the non-profit organisation Gruppo Famiglie Dravet, which strives to improve the quality of life of children suffering from a serious form of epilepsy: Dravet syndrome.
